Remain eating a healthy diet, at least during your six-week workout, by staying away from alcohol, drugs, smoking, and even junk food and fast food. And, the two most important requirements to health and beauty include drinking at least eight glasses of water per day as well as getting eight hours of sleep, every night.

Throughout your Vince DelMonte six-week workout, consider food from the food pyramid in order to make sure your mind, body and muscles get the nutrition needed for growth and strength as well as better productivity and performance. Each meal you eat should be comprised of forty-five percent carbohydrates, thirty percent proteins, and twenty percent healthy fats. Carbohydrates include whole grains, vegetables, fruits, beans, brown rice, whole wheat bread, and whole grain pasta. Protein includes beans, nuts, whole grains, soy, and dairy. Healthy fats include olive oil, canola oil, sunflower oil corn oil, soy oil, dairy, juice, avocado, and nuts.
